Ads — Role

The click has to come from a role at work.

LinkedIn Ads are not a weekend feed and not a search box. Virtual Prachar aims the offer at a job, then the landing URL has to speak to that job — or the expensive click is wasted.

The work

A job title is the targeting. The page has to know it.

This is the expensive door. We use it when the offer is for a function — ERP, CRM, a corporate website — not when a weekend scroll would have done. If the URL cannot speak to that role, see On Page SEO first.

  1. 01

    The role

Who at work should see this. A job, a function — not “professionals” as a blob. If we cannot name the role, we should not buy the click.

  2. 02

    The line

Copy that sounds like work. A Facebook-style interrupt on this network is a mismatch. We write from the offer, not from a template pack.

  3. 03

    The why-here

LinkedIn is for when search will not be typed and a weekend feed is the wrong room. If Google Ads or Facebook Ads would reach them cheaper, we say so.

  4. 04

    The URL

The page after the click has to keep talking to that role. If it cannot, we do not scale spend — we fix the website or the on-page work first.

We do not sell “reach all decision makers” or a return figure pulled from the air. If the role is vague, or the page shrugs at the people who hold it — that is the work, not a bigger budget.

Questions

What LinkedIn Ads is not.

Is this just Facebook Ads on a different app?

No. Facebook Ads interrupt a general scroll. This work is aimed at a job. The copy, the targeting, and the landing URL all have to sound like work.

Should we start here, or on Google?

If they already type the query, start with Google Ads. Use this when they will not search, and a weekend feed is the wrong room. We will say which door fits after we see the offer.

What if the website cannot hold a role-based click?

Then we do not scale spend. The work moves to Website Design And Development or On Page SEO until the page can keep the person who holds that job.
